Yawnder’s Return & Exchange Policy

We want you to love your new mattress. This policy is designed to give you peace of mind while you find the perfect fit for your sleep.

Our Mattress Satisfaction Trial

Your trial period is determined by the brand of the mattress you purchase, ranging from a minimum of 100 to 365 days. Please confirm your specific trial period at the time of purchase.

Mandatory 30-Night Adjustment Period A new mattress can take some time to get used to as your body adjusts. We require that you sleep on your new mattress for a minimum of 30 nights to allow for this natural break-in period.

If you are not completely satisfied after the 30-night adjustment period, you may initiate a return or exchange at any point before your trial period ends.


How to Start a Return or Exchange

To begin the process, simply contact us:

Once you contact us, Yawnder or an authorized third-party partner will schedule a time to pick up the mattress from your home.


Your Options After the 30-Night Trial

Once you’ve decided the mattress isn’t for you, you have two simple options:

Option 1: Return for a Refund You can return the mattress for a full refund, less a flat $150 return and restocking fee. This fee will be deducted from your total refund and helps cover the costs associated with pickup, transportation, and processing of the returned mattress.

Option 2: Exchange for a New Mattress (Fee Waived) To help you find the perfect mattress, we will waive the $150 return fee when you select a different mattress from our store. You will be responsible for any price difference for the new mattress.

  • Please note: The second mattress is considered a final sale and is not eligible for a second trial period or return. This policy is limited to one mattress exchange per household.

Important Note: All associated White Glove delivery and recycling fees from your original purchase are non-refundable.


Conditions for a Valid Return

For a mattress to be eligible for a return or exchange, it must be in a clean and sanitary condition.

  • We are unable to accept returns for mattresses that are stained, damaged, or unsanitary. We strongly recommend using a waterproof mattress protector to ensure your mattress remains in returnable condition.

  • The original law tag must remain attached to the mattress. Removing this tag will void the trial period.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Adjustable Beds & Foundations

  • Mattress Toppers
  • Bed Frames & Headboards

  • Bedding (Sheets, Comforters, etc.)

  • Pillows, Mattress Toppers, and Mattress Protectors

  • Comfort Layer Inserts

  • Consumable items (Candles, Soaps, Diffusers)

  • Floor Models & Open-Box Mattresses

Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If you receive an item that is defective, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the issue. We will evaluate the situation and work with you to make it right.

🚛 Mattress Removal & Recycling Policy

In compliance with California’s mattress recycling law, Yawnder offers free removal of your old mattress when a new mattress is delivered, provided the request is made at the time of purchase.

Please note:

  • Mattress pickup must be arranged before or during checkout so we can schedule the removal with your delivery.

  • We are unable to provide mattress removal for returns or cancellations after delivery has been completed.

  • If you are returning a mattress, you will need to make alternative arrangements for recycling or disposal. Resources can be found at ByeByeMattress.com.

  • The Mattress Recycling Council charges a recycling fee for every mattress or foundation purchased in California. This fee is collected at checkout and remitted to the council as required by law.

This ensures we remain compliant with California law while keeping the process clear and consistent for all customers.


🛏️ Adjustable Bed Delivery & Removal Policy

  1. White-Glove Delivery & Setup

    • $150 flat fee

    • Includes in-home delivery, unboxing, and full setup of your new adjustable bed or mattress.

    • Packaging materials will be removed and disposed of for you.

    • This fee is non-refundable once service has been scheduled.

  2. Adjustable Bed Removal (Optional Add-On)

    • $250 additional charge

    • This fee is in addition to the $150 white-glove delivery fee.

    • Covers disassembly, removal from your home, and responsible disposal of your existing adjustable bed.

    • This fee is non-refundable once service has been scheduled.

  3. Foundation or Box Spring Removal

    • If you purchase a new foundation from Yawnder, we will remove your old foundation or box spring at no extra cost.

    • This free removal applies only to standard foundations/box springs. Adjustable beds do not qualify for free removal.

  4. Example Costs

    • New adjustable bed delivered & set up only: $150

    • New adjustable bed delivered, set up, and old adjustable bed removed: $400 total ($150 + $250)

    • New foundation purchased → old foundation/box spring removed: Free (plus standard delivery fee if applicable)

  5. Important Notes

    • Removal is limited to one item per order (mattress, foundation, or adjustable bed).

    • All removal requests must be scheduled at the time of purchase.

    • All delivery and removal fees are non-refundable.
