Watch the video below to learn about Yawnder and our beginnings. Ben, a former librarian, and Catherine, a former special educator, swapped their books for beds starting in 2015. Since then, we’ve been on a mission to find the perfect sleep solution.
We’ve personally tested and analyzed thousands of mattresses and sleep products over the years. If you’ve heard of a mattress, chances are we’ve not only slept on it, but also disassembled it to understand its construction and quality.
The mattress industry is still an old boys club dominated by gimmicks and nepotism, but we’re working to change that. Our goal is to offer you a better alternative: a place where you can trust the quality, get a great deal, and try before you buy. No more gimmicks or salesy jargon. I found this store by accident when looking at retailers for an online brand of mattress. I was so happy when I entered their store because they have all the big direct-to-consumer brands and the most popular models for testing. The staff are fantastically helpful. They have a very thorough set of options to try out. I ended up purchasing an entirely different mattress than I had my mind set on - I am extremely happy with my experience and HIGHLY recommend this shop. (They even honored manufacturer Labor Day sales!) Definitely give them a visit if you're looking at DTC mattresses.
