Helix metal bed frame: foundation required
The Helix Frame is a hardened-steel bed frame that supports a compatible foundation beneath your mattress. Do not place a mattress directly on the frame. It is not a slatted platform that replaces a foundation.

Your setup needs a mattress, a suitable foundation and the frame. Check your mattress manufacturer’s support requirements and match the foundation and frame sizes before ordering. Add all three component heights when checking finished bed height.
Helix lists tool-free assembly and compatibility with many standard headboards. Confirm your headboard’s mounting arrangement and any required hardware before purchase.
Construction and assembly
Helix uses hardened steel with a tool-free assembly design. The frame sits beneath the foundation; the foundation supplies the mattress-facing support surface. Follow the included assembly instructions and recheck connections if movement or noise develops.

Does the Helix Frame need a foundation?
