4th of July is coming up which means more mattress sales at the brick and mortar mattress stores. Sleepy’s, Slumberland, Sears, Mattress Firm and others will be rolling out the red carpet.
Some brands such as Tuft & Needle will just have you email them a picture of your donation of their mattress to a local charity and then credit you the full price of the mattress! Others will coordinate a pickup service free of charge so that you won’t have to pay or coordinate return shipping.
Not all the companies I review are the Bed in a Box model either. WinkBeds is a new company that offers a hybrid innerspring and memory foam mattress that utilizes a delivery company to deliver your mattress inside your house and remove your old one.
These mattress are priced very competitively.
Recently Mattress Firm came out with their bed in a box offering called the Dream Bed. This mattress has a great trial period and can be delivered in as little as 48 hours to your door. You can even try it out in select Mattress Firm showrooms.
